The Office of Life, Justice & Peace is launching, in partnership with St. Vincent De Paul and the Knights of Columbus, Hearts to Serve, a hotline to serve our families in need but most importantly our elderly community who are homebound during this difficult time.

Our hotline will provide resources and serve as a call center for anyone in our Catholic parishes and school who is need of food or home goods delivery, material assistance, or referrals for essential resources.  Feel free to share this with anyone who needs assistance or would like to help.  As of now, phone calls will only be answered in English.  Hours of Operation will be 8 a.m.-6 p.m.  Call 855-423-6780.
 

Little Sisters of the Poor in San Pedro is in need of donations of the following food and medical supplies:

• Disinfectant wipes
• Facial tissue
• N95 masks
• Facial shields
• Protective goggles
• Gowns
• Gloves
• Coloring books
• Crossword puzzles
• Word searches
• Disinfectant gel for hands
• Foam to-go food containers with dividers
• 8 oz. soup containers with lids
• Foam dessert containers
• Wrapped plastic cutlery with napkins
• Audio books
• Puzzles

The home is also in need of enough of the following food items to feed 120 people:

• White and wheat sliced bread for sandwiches
• Frozen meats (chicken, pork, beef, ground beef)
• Pre-cooked packaged meats
• Vegetables (potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, celery, spinach, spring mix)

All medical supplies and activity items should be brought to the front door (2100 S Western Ave, San Pedro, CA 90732), but donors are being asked to call the home first at 310-548-0625, so locations can be further coordinated and securely retrieved.
 

 

The Harbor Pregnancy Help Center is in dire need of the following items for infants in their community:

• Diapers (sizes 4, 5 & 6)
• Baby wipes
• Formula
