St. Paul told of the hospitality offered by the Philippian community and extended to them “the blessings that come from giving.” He said of his preaching journeys that he has been “paid back everything, and with interest.” Philippians 4:14-23
There is one simple and obvious way we can show our Christian hospitality: welcome visitors and friends alike to our Sunday liturgy by becoming a Minister of Hospitality: a Greeter.
This painless and pleasant ministry takes no extra training and very little time. All you’ll be asked to do is to arrive 10 minutes early to Mass and stand at one of the doors with a welcoming smile and handshake. We’ll even give you a special name badge to wear!
Holy Trinity is known as a “welcoming place”, abounding with many ministries of liturgical service and Christian outreach. Won’t you help extend a welcome to all those who need a place of worship to call home? Our Greeter coordinators are Marie Provence and Annette Herrera, who can be reached by calling the parish office at 548-6535.
Give them a call and become a Greeter – the gift of your service will come back to you with interest! (Sept. 28, 2003)
