The second Sunday of Easter is the celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday. God loves us and He wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater then our sins. The Rosary and Novena groups invite all parishioners to join together to pray for forgiveness and healing in our world through the divine mercy of Jesus.
On the Second Sunday of Easter of the Jubilee Year 2000, Pope John Paul II proclaimed to the world that “from now on throughout the Church this Sunday will be called Divine Mercy Sunday.” On this day we celebrate!
