NO RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES TODAY, SUNDAY, MARCH 18TH.
We will resume next week as usual.

This week’s GOSPEL is from John. The story is the raising of Jesus’ friend Lazarus from the dead, a death the disciples assumed was a physical death, but John’s gospel was also speaking  of a  spiritual death. Which begs the question, has our faith suffered a spiritual death? Does our faith need to be resurrected? Jesus ordered the stone in front of Lazarus’ grave to be rolled away. Let’s take time to think about what “stones” we need to roll away. Is it the stone of anger, the stone of impatience, the stone of jealousy? When our stones have been rolled away we will be able to recognize and celebrate Jesus’ resurrection and His promise to us of everlasting life.

First  Communion  Closet continues to look for donations of gently used First Communion clothes for boys and girls. If you have anything to donate or questions please call: Molly Slaught or Alice Sandoval at the Office of Religious Education (310-833-3500).
